How do I configure wireless printing on my Star Printer?

Steps:

  1. Perform a print test to get the printer's IP Address
  2. In your web browser type in the IP Address (example http://192.168.1.120). Press ENTER.
  3. Login to the printer management page
    1. Username: root
    2. Password: public
  4. Click CloudPRNT in the menu
  5. Update the following CloudPRNT settings
    1. CloudPRNT Service: Enable
    2. Server URL: https://ups.MarijuanaSoftwareLLC.com/api/printer (for receipt printer use this address https://ups.MarijuanaSoftwareLLC.com/api/mcp)
    3. Polling Time (Sec.): 1
    4. Username and Password: Same as you use to log into MarijuanaSoftwareLLC.com
       
  6. CloudPRNT01
  7. Click Submit
  8. Click Save
    CloudPRNT02
  9. Click Save and Restart
    CloudPRNT03
  10. Printer will restart. Wait until solid green light on printer and “Success” popup.
  11. CloudPRNT settings are now saves to the printer but we are not quite finished.
  12. Go to https://ups.MarijuanaSoftwareLLC.com and register if you are not currently.
    1. If you’re registering, use the email address you use to log into MarijuanaSoftwareLLC.com. 
  13. You will need your Application ID. To get this, at marijuanasoftwarellc.com, go to the main menu, click “Edit Account", right mouse click on the page, select view page source, press CTRL-F on your keyboard and search for ApplicationID. Copy the Application ID and paste it in the UPS.MarijuanaSoftwareLLC.com website 

     

  14. Go back to the Edit Account page in Marijuana Software, scroll down to UPS PRINTER SETTINGS, and enter the same username (email address), PassW0rd!, and Application ID that you used on UPS.MarijuanaSoftwareLLC.com. Click “Update Store Account".

  15. Now next time you open the POS screen you will be asked to select their wireless printer. (If not, click on the small “*” button towards the top right of the screen next to the “Open Order” button.

  16. Now the printer is connected and you can print labels.
